It took a while but meanwhile everything is done – the new server is up and running and it has been made accessible from the world wide web ;). Tomorrow I’ll try to get in touch with everybody committing to our project to inform about our new features.

After having some problems with getting the Changesets retrospectiva feature run, I’ve finally found out that both: a proper cron job and updating the GIT version to 1.6.6.1, did the trick. With Changesets working you can not only see the latest commit but also look into them using the quick diff function. Yuhuu :)

After our discussion I decided to stick to the first thought and go with retrospectiva. I think, it’s exactly the kind of a tool, we need to manage our project. It can be used not only to declare milestones or tickets, but furthermore as the central spot, where you can check the current project status (changeset, code browsing functionality). I ported our old doku wiki, so we didn’t lose any content stored there.
